Record Level of Grants Awarded

We are thrilled to be able to fund $785,000 in grants to help women in Mississippi thrive. In our first year of operating as an independent Foundation nine years ago, we awarded $68,000 in grants. Through expanded support of national foundations, corporate sponsors, and our generous individual donors, we are now able to help even more women across the state move toward economic security.

The new 2016 grantees operate programs from the Delta up to Tunica, across to the northeast area of the state, down through Meridian/Lauderdale County, to the Gulf Coast, and back up to the Jackson/Hinds County area, with work of the grantees impacting women from all areas of Mississippi.
